Merry Christmas...

My deepest apoligies again...
It has been over a month and there isnt really any good excuses for not updating sooner.
I could say last time I was getting holiday packages out to Greg and well the holiday slipped up on me, but I totally have slacked!

Well Merry Christmas!
We are both doing better, Greg is enjoying the lack of snow he is having, where as I am wishing hourly for the return of his shoveling skills!

I am finally starting to work my way back up the healthy side of the hill as I had been sick for a good month of so; with the holidays I have been trying to rest and get well... so this is what I am trying!
I hope to upload some pictures later today if not in the few days so please stay tuned!
Much love to our families this holiday season...
Wishing you all a safe and happy holidays!

Nov. 27, 2008

I apoligize for the length in time between updates;

I have been trying to keep myself busy which in turn causes me to forget quite a bit.

So let me see... Greg is enjoying his job, his only complaint is that everything contains SAND... and not typical sand, but powdery sand!

Greg has quite enjoyed the weekly market and has found a few items that were very generously given to him for free. They are usual looking hats and as we all know greg you can only imagine the fun he is having with them.

Greg sends his love to everyone and is hoping you are all enjoying the seasonal weather!

I was informed that if you do not have a blog you can not leave a message so feel free to send messages or questions to me at angusashleigh@hotmail.com, and then also I can give you his address if you wish to send something over.

Update!

Well it was a long summer of traveling and preparing for Greg's deployment.

He is now over "playing in the sand" as he says.
He will try to update the blog if he gets time but I believe it will mostly be myself doing it.

Things are going well, he is currently shadowing someone to learn all aspects of his job and seems to be enjoying the beautiful sunshine and 20 degree weather.

He has sent some pictures and if I can figure out how to upload them I will;
I also have a mailing address if anyone would like it, they can mail letters, cards, or parcels for free by Canada Post from Oct.20th til Jan. 15th.

Greg has asked that anyone who generally emails him forwards and such to hold off, so it is hard to check emails and takes up alot of time and space in his email...

We will try to keep everyone updated as best as we can and as often as we can!

If anyone would like to know, Greg will be nine and a half hours ahead of our time as of Nov.2nd.

Skinny Greg

I came up with an idea, for when Greg is away.

We thought of making a "skinny Greg" for him to join at family and friends' functions.

It is a reflector on a rod, in which we glued a picture of his head to it!

So now he will not miss out on anything...

we will take pictures of him everywhere so he doesnt miss out on anything.

How our east coast road trip began!

So Greg got a week's leave from Ottawa and we decided, what better way to spend a week then good ol' road trip.

We left on Sunday at around 14:00 and began heading east from Ottawa. We went throught Montreal, and on to Fredericton. We were able we a total of 3 stops for bathroom and gas; We were doing good, switching off driving and such. We are about 1.5 hours outside Fredericton and it is around 23:45 and we are on a divided highway, we noticed that a set of headlights are about 12-14 feet too far right to be driving west bound.
Well as we continue driving east bound we realize a car is driving in the wrong direction!!! They are driving west bound and the east bound lanes... So beside scaring the shit out of myself and Greg we were definately wide awake again and praying that police picked this car up before any danger occurred. Needless to say we made it to the Dossev's residence at 00:30 and settle in for a well deserved nights sleep.
We picked Ted up the following morning from work and headed to a local pub, "Lunarrogue" for a pint and eats... What does the rest of the week hold... stay tuned!
