One Month Later!

So baby girl is still hanging out!

Tomorrow will be my expected due date; but as any mom knows.. they are just a guess on when you should be ready for the baby.

I am ever so tired and sore and hope she decides she is ready soon, I dont know how much longer I can carry her around for. I would like to avoid an induction at all costs but know that I will have to just relax and go with her plan; and truly that is all I can really do at this point.

This is our lovely crib, all ready for her arrival; her closet is insane with clothes but that is another day... maybe I will post a weekly photo of the week/ fashion show post.

Holy Fast Forward!

Well it has been almost a year since I last updated my blog!
Lots has changed!! I mean ALOT!
Where to start... well late May Greg returned home; Thank goodness that is over and behind us.
We spend alot of time relaxing and camping, and visiting.
We spend an amazing weekend at a friends cottage while he was in the province from B.C; so that was fabulous!
Greg returned to work at Canadian Pacific Railway... it has been stressful on him but he is fighting through the difficulties.
On August 28th we discovered we were expecting our first child! It was been a whirled wind of interesting times and experiences. We are both over joyed to say the least and now anxiously wait her arrival.. Yes HER... it is a girl. No surprise since Greg's side the gender of child domainance flips. Greg is one of 3 boys; and our little girl will be 1 of 3 girls out of the 5 children coming from the 3 boys.
In Early Nov. great friends of our welcomed there first child; Samual; my mother has claimed him as her future grandson in law; it is quite the assumption since little girl isnt even here yet!

What was next... a new school year with new staff at work; it has / was wonderful and enjoyable.
That brings us up in short to 2010! My brother welcomed his first little one; Addison born Mar. 2010. So my parent are elated to be getting two grandbabies in about two months of each other.
Our little girl ( no name choosen as of yet) is due May 2010. She has been a stubborn one like her father and mother and has been sitting breech for 90% of my pregnancy if not transverse;
We are down to the wire to see what the call will be on her arrival.
I finished up work about a week ago now due to back issues; but that has not stopped me from working Greg like a work horse to complete the nursery and such.
I am very excited for her arrival and have so much to still do.. or atleast it feels like that.
I hope to be able to keep this blog up to date better... it isnt like I truly have an excuse for the next year or so... right?
Well I am sure I could write for hours about every last detail... but that might get boring... so for now.. here is the fast forwarded version!

1. Live without using my credit card for an entire month. (done Mar.6th-Apr, 24th)
2. Volunteer 40 hours (0/40)
3. Try a new recipe every month (28/32)
4. Call or email a family member once a week (78/143).
5. See the East Coast of Canada.
6. Start an emergency fund and build it to contain a minimum of $1,500.
7. Do a whale watching tour.
8. Cook a meal for a friend (done Jan. 23)
9. Get dressed up and go somewhere fancy for dinner for no reason.
10. Organize recipes into a recipe box/book.
11. Swap stuff with someone in another country (gimmeyourstuff.blogspot.com).
12. Learn how to jump start a car. ( learned and still trying to always remember it)
13.Take my parents out for dinner to a nice restaurant. {complete Dec/08}
14. Put away $5 for every goal I don't achieve.
15. Get boudoir pictures taken.
16. Go on a picnic with friends. (done summer of 2010)
17. Wear a skirt to work once a month (12/32).
18. Host a girls only weekend. (feb 5th/11)
19. Buy a friend flowers for no reason. {completed Nov/08}
20. Lose at least 20lbs. ( May-Dec. 2010)
21. See a musical. {completed Jan.8th}
22. Buy a really nice piece of jewelry.
23. Perform 50 acts of random kindness (48/50).
24. Spend *most* of a day in bed with hubby (and not necessarily our bed) {Completed - July 2009}
25. Go on an over night trip with my mom. (summer 2008)
26. Join a gym – and go three times a week.
27. Make 3 birthday, anniversary, or get well cards and mail them. (3/3)
28. Don’t eat out for a month.
29. Eat a vegetarian diet for two days (2/2). {completed *not by choice* Sept. 2009}
30. Read two books (2/2). { completed Mar. 2010}
31. Buy a coloring book, and color all of the pictures.{started Jan.4th/09}
32. Donate clothing items at least 3 times. [3/3]
33. Go to the movies alone.
34. Take a multi-vitamin everyday for a month.{completed[dec.-jan.]/continuing}
35. Don’t drink any pop for one month. {Dec.4th - Jan.6th}
36. Brush my teeth four times per day for a month.
37. Floss once per day for a three months.
38. Go to church every Sunday for three months. (done summer of 2010)
39. Wear my hair down every day for a week. {Completed feb.2010}
40. Wear make-up every day for a week.
41. Wear a bikini and feel fabulous! (Doing in the privacy of my backyard 2010)
42. Don’t be afraid to confront someone when they hurt me, just do it. {completed several time between Dec. and Mar. 2010}
43. Eat at a sit down restaurant all by myself, without reading, talking on the phone, etc. {completed may.09}
44. Pay for the person behind me in the drive-thru.
45. Paint a room in my house all by myself.
46. Create a time capsule to be opened when I turn 50.
47. Put my clothes away immediately after folding them.
48. Make a house cleaning schedule and follow it.
49. Get books from the library, if I can, instead of buying them. {Doing for for almost a year not may09 - }
50. Keep a journal and write in it entire time my husband is gone.
51. Take a Navy Shower (time it so that the water is on for no longer than two minutes)
52. Only watch tv for 2 hour a day for 2 weeks {completed Feb./09}
53. Only use the internet for two hours a day for a week (completed Mar.6-13th)
54. Take a course of interest
55. Send a letter to a soldier overseas I don't know
56. Send atleast two homefire packages {completed}
